Fifty-two years after Louis Brandt had opened his assembly
workshop in 1848, his collection won the international
jury's Grand Prix at the 1900 Paris World Fail. Now,
a century later, OMEGA continues to affirm its uncontested

Forging alliances of steel, silver, gold and leather
in order to measure time is one of Hermes more established
specialties. The House was making watches even before
it turned its hand to silk. In the 1920s it developed
partnerships with Swiss and French specialists who fashioned
a whole range of models in harmony with brand's distinctive
style.
Hermes designs have always striven
